Low Light / No Light Principles

This class will explore the fundamentals and principles behind shooting in a reduced light or no light environment. Students will shoot using the lighting conditions afforded by the environment, shoot with the introduction of artificial light, and explore the idea of photonic barriers.

Instruction will include methods and principles of handheld and weapon based lights as well as concealed and overt carry options.

This class contains live fire with both rifle and pistol platforms, however, a rifle is not required. Please provide your own ammunition.

Considerations for live fire classes:

  • 200 rounds of ammunition for each firearm

  • Sling for Rifle

  • Pistol with sturdy belt holster

  • Handheld Light

  • Weapon Light (recommended)

  • Glow stick or marking light

  • Closed toed shoes

  • Long pants

  • Belt

  • Long hair tied up

  • Ear and eye protection

  • Meal / snacks / water

  • Safety violators will be asked to leave.
